Congrats to Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard for introducing a carbon tax scheme in her country. Too bad since its introduction support for the Labor party has seen a major decline.
Its funny because of all the countries/continents that need to get their shit together when it comes to our environment, Australia is the one that needs to be on top of their shit.

Truth.
If one were to stay truthful to Jewish law, one would not pierce or tattoo their body. If said person were to do so, their body would become impure and they could not be buried in a Jewish cemetery.
Now, I have no issue with body piercings or tattoos. In fact, I have piercings and I want a tattoo. My only issue with tattoos and piercings is when Jewish people claim they have ‘religious significance’ or when they tattoo the word of G-d or his values on their body.
When I look at my cartilage piercing, I do not identify as a slave—as the Torah would imply, I do not attach any significance to it besides the fact that it is an odd fashion trend. When I see my future tattoo, I will not see the image of G-d—just a sun to remind me of my mom.
Back to my point, I was at the pool today and one of the very attractive lifeguards had the word ”אמת” or truth tattooed over his heart. I have noticed that this has become a trend. Why? Justin Bieber, Madonna….and now this hot lifeguard. If you are getting a tattoo, it is just ridiculous to get one that has Jewish significance because it just contradicts Jewish law, and to someone who is somewhat versed in the subject, you will look like an idiot.
Sorry Mr. Lifeguard but you should have just gotten the word “truth” tattooed on your heart….

It is nice to know that Amy Winehouse is more important than what happened in Utoya and Oslo, Norway.
I mean R.I.P. A n’ W because she rocked and all but when they tried to make her go to rehab, she should have said yes yes yes.
May all the families and people directly affected by what happened in Norway know that my thoughts are with you. I think you are more important than Amy … and that will never change.
I have an opinion about probably everything, but I try to understand both sides. I don’t understand why there are people out there who live in a bubble and don’t pay attention to current events.
